Lyons Ridge Makes a Big Impression
with Cary New Home Shoppers

Verseman Development's custom home community is
popular among move-up buyers.

Sales are strong at Lyons Ridge, a community of 28 upscale custom homes in Cary, where builder Verseman Homes has benefited from all that the desirable village has to offer its residents.

“We’re getting a lot of shoppers from Cary and the surrounding area that are already familiar with the built-in advantages of living in Cary,” said Jeff Holz, co-owner of Verseman Development Company. “But we’re also getting a good share of customers who are just discovering Cary for the first time and who are quickly learning how Lyons Ridge is one of the most prestigious new home communities within the village.”

Holz has sold to a range of native buyers seeking to retain a coveted Cary address, as well as purchasers from Lake in the Hills, Glenview, and Hawthorn Woods. He’s even building a home for an out-of-state transferee who fell in love with Lyons Ridge and Cary upon first visit. He noted that virtually the same type of buyers from the same areas are also drawn to Verseman’s sister community of custom homes—Harvest Glen, located one mile down the street from Lyons Ridge.

Lyons Ridge has proved especially popular among move-up buyers who have called Cary home for years, added Holz.

“We get a lot of interest from growing families and professional couples who are ready to purchase their second or third home and step up to that next level of size, luxury and comfort,” said Holz. “They’re yearning for a one-of-a-kind residence that will reflect their distinctive personalities and individual tastes. And they also want a spatially efficient, fully functional, everyday home designed with active families in mind.”

Holz added that “whether they’re long-time Cary residents or have recently been introduced to our town, our buyers have one thing in common—they appreciate the outstanding combination of location, quality craftsmanship, family friendly charm, and value that Lyons Ridge provides.”

The community’s newest phase offers half-acre-sized homesites, city sewer and water service, an attractive land plan boasting scenic cul-de-sacs, sidewalks, a tot lot, and extensive neighborhood landscaping.

Lyons Ridge features completely distinctive residences starting from the upper $500,000s (all prices subject to change without notice). A completely custom builder, Verseman creates an original home design from scratch and can build to suit any preferred home style or outside plan. Lyons Ridge homes include all the luxury appointments and extras Verseman Development is known for—such as spacious three-car garages, granite countertops, Jacuzzi whirlpool tubs, Pella windows, and generous landscape packages.

Shoppers who prefer to settle in sooner vs. later can now choose a custom inventory home, scheduled for completion and delivery by August. Located at 950 Lyons Ridge Dr. and priced at $649,900, this unique two-story residence will include four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, three-car garage, large family room, formal living and dining rooms, full basement with 9’ ceiling and bath rough-in, gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, a half-acre homesite with landscape package.

Lyons Ridge homeowners can take advantage of a variety of Cary attractions, including tree-lined streets and plentiful parks, six shopping centers, easy accessibility to Crystal Lake shopping and Algonquin Commons mall, a Metra station that whisks commuters downtown in about one hour and an emerging downtown area on Main Street.

Additionally, Lyons Ridge is located within Cary’s top-rated school district, which includes Cary-Grove High School.

More than six homesites have already been reserved at Lyons Ridge, and first deliveries are expected this spring, according to Holz.

Lyons Ridge is located on Three Oaks Road in Cary. Sales for Lyons Ridge are being conducted at Harvest Glen, Verseman Development’s other current community in Cary. Take Route 14 (Northwest Highway) to Three Oaks Road, go east three miles to the Harvest Glen entrance.
